Hello and welcome

Welcome to my attempt at a blogg spot to chronicle my hesitant steps in restoring a 1979 Volkswagen Type2 Devon moonraker camper. I have actually had the vehicle for nearly three years now but as is all too often the case life has got in the way.

First I built a large double garage to house the project in but since then , moved out for six months, moved back and I have gutted and redecorated my house as well as becoming a father for the first time.

All I have managed to do in this time is to cut back the O/S sills and outriggers ready to start welding with my recently aquired welder, thanks very much indeed to the father in law for that ;o)
